Why Become a Business Partner?Due to the World Health Organization’s declaration of a pandemic, the Center for Disease Control’s recommendation against gatherings of 50 or more people, and recent executive orders in Maryland and the District of Columbia concerning the public health emergency, ASAE has made the decision to move forward with canceling any face to face meetings through May 20th, which includes XDP May 19-20, at Gaylord National Harbor in MD.
We appreciate your support during this unforeseen circumstance! Wishing you, your family, friends and colleagues’ safety and good health!

The Fine Print
Payment of debts
Business Partners are responsible for ensuring that there are no outstanding amounts owed by them to ASAE. If all payments and outstanding amounts are not paid in full by February 3, 2020, ASAE retains the right to cancel the contract further notice and without obligation to refund previously paid amounts. Any re-sale of the package shall not result in a refund to the Business Partner.
Cancellation or downsizing
All requests for cancellation or reduction of your participation package must be made in writing and shall become effective upon receipt by ASAE. Due to the difficulty of determining and detailing the losses which would result from cancellation, the Business Partner agrees to pay the following as liquidated damages (and not as a penalty) if the Business Partner cancels its participation and written notice of cancellation is received by ASAE on or before January 3, 2020, ASAE will retain or shall be owed a cancellation fee of $150; if written notice of cancellation is received by ASAE after January 3, 2020 but before on or before February 2, 2020, ASAE will retain or shall be owed a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total fees plus a $150 processing fee; if written notice of cancellation is received by ASAE on or after February 3, 2020, ASAE will retain or shall be owed a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the total contracted fees. The above cancellation fee terms shall apply regardless of the execution date of this Agreement.
Impact of Coronavirus on Scheduled ASAE ProgramsASAE continues to monitor the rapidly changing situation related to the spread of COVID-19. We understand that concerns for health, safety, and the impact on meeting attendance, among other issues, are affecting our members. Absent federal travel restrictions and/or local, state, or regional decisions to close venues, ASAE has not canceled any of its meetings. At these events, we commit to maintaining all appropriate sanitary, health, and safety measures and encourage attendees to follow guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization. If there are any changes to event schedules, we will provide information to registrants about virtual options that may be available and/or other specific details. Please note that due to the ongoing uncertainty regarding the coronavirus, ASAE will not charge a cancellation fee if you decide to not attend an in-person event based on concerns around your health or travel, including after any posted cancellation deadlines for the event. For information on policies pertaining to online events, please refer to specific program pages on our event calendar or contact our member services team for inquiries.
