Jumpstart your morning by exercising your mind and body through a Morning Kickstarter. Come early as sessions are first come, first serve.

April 19
6:30–7:30 a.m.

POUND®—Rockout. Workout.

Location: Potomac 1-6 Foyer

POUND® is a full-body cardio jam-session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming. Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Designed for all fitness levels, POUND® provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up, and rockin' out!

Sunrise Yoga

Location: Gaylord Docks

Enjoy an early morning salute to the sun on the dock overlooking the Potomac river.  Experience a gentle body warm up followed by a slow flow moving from pose to pose transitioning at your own pace.  Each pose weill be hed for a moment to allow awareness of the body, focusing on centering the mind and using the breath as a method of control.  Sunrise Yoga will focus on finding the balance of ease and challenge in your practice.  Class will end with a deep relaxation reducing any remaining stress and tension preparing the body for the day ahead. 
Participants are required to bring their own yoga mat. Class size is imited to the first 20 attendees

Zumba Xperience

Location: Potomac 1-6 Foyer
Ditch the workout, join the party! Come xperience a dance party atmosphere full of Latin, International, Hip-Hop and Pop music. Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations. This creates a simple, fun, and effective aerobic workout while also targeting your legs, abs, glutes and arms.  


Location: Marina Promenade

Kickstart your morning with Mindfulness. Engage in a discussion on the science of Mindfulness—training the brain through Nuroplasticity—followed by a hands-on experiential Mindfulness training.

  • Improvement of overall wellbeing and mental health
  • Decrease in stress/anger
  • Noticing (and breaking) habitual patterns
